The exhibition showcases works by artist Gayané Matevosyan created in sumi-é technique — an ancient Japanese ink painting art form based on the expressiveness of line, rhythm of brushstroke, and the inner state of the artist.
The exhibition brings together both classical nature motifs and freer compositions that reveal the possibilities of sumi-é in contemporary artistic interpretation.
