Kaarvan — The Indian Kitchen — is Tashkent's largest Indian restaurant, founded by siblings Rishi and Ritu who personally oversee every dish. The menu showcases the full diversity of the Indian subcontinent: aromatic curries from Kerala, Punjabi tandoori specialties, samosas, aloo tikki, pakora, kadai paneer, gulab jamun, and laddu. A broad vegetarian and vegan selection is a rarity among Tashkent restaurants. The menu also features dishes with an Indian twist on Chinese cuisine. The interior is rich with Indian motifs, creating a warm atmosphere perfect for both a quick lunch and a leisurely evening. Evening belly dance performances are featured.
